JBlair Media Creations brings together nearly four decades of professional experience in broadcasting, audio production, journalism, voiceover, and communications.

I began my professional radio career in 1987 and have since worked as an announcer, news director, operations manager, and general manager, while producing and voicing thousands of commercials, promotional announcements, and other audio projects. My work has ranged from traditional :30 and :60 radio commercials to long-form narration, training projects, tourism productions, and digital audio.

My background also includes more than 12 years as a newspaper journalist and photographer with The County Journal in Southern Illinois, along with decades of broadcast news writing, commercial copywriting, and public-affairs communications.

In 2018, I expanded into audiobook narration and have since completed more than 10 fiction and nonfiction audiobook projects. Whether I'm behind a microphone, writing copy, or producing finished audio, my approach is the same: understand the audience, communicate the message clearly, and make the finished product sound professional.

My performance background includes more than 25 years with the Madrigal Society of Southern Illinois, performances at Carnegie Hall in New York City, community theater, and a film acting credit. Those experiences have contributed to my understanding of performance, interpretation, and connecting with an audience.
